'Tree pollen season' is upon us

The tree pollen season is already upon us with many patients experiencing early symptoms. You may wish to keep an 'eye' on local pollen reports, most of which only start reporting from later on in March. Anticipate more severe symptoms when levels are higher and ensure medications such as non-sedating antihistamines are taken in advance. Immunotherapy is available as a curative approach for those with moderate to severe grass and/or tree pollen allergies.
