Commercial Pesto sauce in the UK often contains Cashew

Dr George Du Toit would like to re-issue a warning to nut allergic people in the UK with respect to the many brands of commercial Pesto sauce that now containing Cashew as a substitute for pine nut. Pine nut tolerant cashew-allergic individuals are then innocently eating - and reacting to - these 'may contain nuts' labelled products in the belief that they are tolerant to pine nut and that the sauce only contains pine nut (actually a seed).
